scraps

I have a huge stash of fabric scraps. I have been waiting for the perfect project and found it several months ago on the Spool blog.

I love the little birds that they made using scraps of fabric (you can download a free pdf pattern on the blog). I thought it would be great to make tons of them and hang them from the ceiling in the girls room.

I am still hoping to get to the shop. I seem to be the city when it is closed, but I am going in tomorrow, so perhaps I can get there, we'll see.

liberty of london

I have already talked about my paper problem, so I thought I would mention that I also have a fabric problem. I love fabric. I really love liberty of london fabric. I have been dying to get the pink small susanna print. But, at thirty five dollars a yard, I'm not sure I would ever be able to cut it. I need to find the perfect project for it.

Purl soho has a great collection of liberty of london prints and other amazing fabrics, patterns and notions. I had a trip to their store planned for last weekend, but I had to cancel it, darn! I guess I should just think about all the money I saved.

new

Here is the sneak peak of my new item that I promised. I have made retro fabric patch note cards. I am planning to sell them in sets of 4. Each card will have a different patch. Starting tomorrow they will be available in my etsy shop.
