Happy Valentine's Day!

I just finished baking all the cookies for the teacher valentine gifts. I made chocolate and sugar cookie heart cut outs. I had cute plastic take out containers with hearts all over them and filled them with the bite-size cookies. The kids will make tags for them tonight and then we are all set to give them out tomorrow.

All eighty of the valentine's day cards are done and ready to be sent into school. They look simple, but since I let the kids do a lot of the work themselves it took way longer then it needed to. Now I need to bake the treats for the teachers.

We have collected all the supplies needed for the kids cards, now we just need to get them made.

I feel like I just came out of the Christmas fog, only to be hit with another holiday. Every year I make (along with the kids) their valentine's day cards to give out to classmates. Today I bought most of the supplies, but it is getting a bit crazy. With all four of them in school we need to make around eighty-five cards.
