My yarn came for the sweaters and I love the colors.

I bought the most amazing yarn the other day. It is a black and white chunky baby alpca. It is one of the nicest yarns I have every knit with. Since is is really expensive ($25 a skein) I am treating myself to a scarf.

While at the yarn shop I also found a pattern for something to make. It is a jacket/dress thing that I will give a try. I am not the best at clothing, so it might wind up being lots of hats, mittens and gloves for the family.

I have been knitting a lot lately. In the past month I have made six hats and two scarves. I have used up almost all the yarn that I had in my stash. For one reason or another I have had a hard time getting to the knitting store to get some new yarns and some new ideas for things to make, I am getting a bit tired of the hat and scarf thing.

I was just looking around on etsy and found some great hand spun and hand dyed yarns . I think etsy might be the way to go if I can't get to the store in the next week or so.

I found this great yarn by manos. Now I need to find a great pattern. I am trying to not make a scarf, any ideas?
